Amy Mackey
Amy Mackey started her own riding school at the age of 20 which has been a huge success and has gone from strength to strength and is still thriving in her name now 20 years later, now managed by her sister. Alongside running the riding school, Amy really enjoyed producing young horses from scratch to competing them in all disciplines including dressage, showjumping and eventing. Having Seamus as her partner, they made a perfect team. Amy holds her BHSAI and teaches clients on site and prides herself in bringing out the best in every partnership!
Seamus Mackey
Seamus Mackey, a former professional national hunt jockey, has over 40 years of experience with racehorses, including training point-to-point winners, breaking in horses, sales preparation and pre training. Seamus is very well regarded and sought after his ability to deal with horses with behavioural problems and putting horses that have developed issues back on the right track. Seamus gives all young horses the very best possible start ensuring they head home feeling relaxed and confident. He has a large base of professional event and dressage riders that use him to break their horses time and time again.
